On 12th July, 2024, our school had the distinct honor of welcoming the Regional Superior of the Apostolic Carmel Congregation. The day was marked by a series of heartfelt and jubilant activities that showcased the strong sense of community and the rich cultural heritage of our school.

Visit to Buruburu House
After the warm reception, the Regional Superior was led to the congregation’s Buruburu House. Here, she was graciously ushered into the Convent by the Sisters, who welcomed her with open arms and warm smiles. This segment highlighted the close-knit relationships and the sense of belonging within the congregation.
School Side Inspection
The Regional Superior then proceeded to the school side, where a guard of honor mounted by the scouts awaited her. The scouts, standing in their impeccable uniforms, exuded discipline and pride. They were led by our enthusiastic school band, whose marching tunes added a ceremonial touch to the inspection. The guard of honor was a testament to the school’s commitment to fostering discipline and leadership among its students.
Assembly Hall Reception
Upon entering the school assembly hall, the Regional Superior was greeted with jubilant dancers performing to African traditional songs amid joyous ululations. The session started with a prayer song led by the school choir then a welcoming address by the school principal Sr. Joanita AC. The hall was filled with an air of celebration as she was further welcomed with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. The colorful display of dances and music underscored the school’s dedication to preserving and celebrating cultural traditions.
