Achievements

  • At Apostolic Carmel Girls’ Secondary School, 2010 – 2014 was a period we were all particularly proud of since it has so far been a time of fulfilled dreams for the entire school community. It is a period that saw the school finally hit the ‘B’ mark of 9.06, which had once seemed to be an elusive dream. This recent success has seen the school for the first time record 7 ‘A-‘ grade in national examination (KCSE) and more than 70% proceed to the university through the regular programme of the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS). Each of the top performers receives a notebook/laptop. This exemplaryPerformance may be attributed to the core values of the school, dedication of all the staff members with the support of the administration, motivation of the students and the staff, team-building activities organised for the students and staff, students’ bursary and scholarship schemes – which has amounted to an average of Ksh. 916,666 for the past 3 years and of course educational tours regularly organised for students accompanied by the staff members
